Helping Develop the Athletes of Tomorrow
The PEAQ Junior Academy, provides young athletes (between 10 - 16 years old) with access to highly qualified strength and conditioning coaches in a fun, supportive, and motivating environment designed to help them thrive. Individual coaching sessions with experienced performance coaches typically range from $70–$100 per session, however our academy offers access to expert coaching for just $45 per week, with the opportunity to attend up to five sessions each week, delivering exceptional value for families committed to their child’s development.
The program is designed to build the physical foundations that support performance across all sports, while also developing confidence and lifelong healthy habits. Through age-appropriate, evidence-informed training, junior athletes improve strength, coordination, movement skills, and body awareness, all within a positive environment that makes training enjoyable and sustainable both in sport and in everyday life.
Small Group Session
Each academy session is capped at an 8:1 ration to ensure your child gets the focus and attention they need to grow, learn and improve.
Pre & Post Testing
We measure each athlete at the start and end of their 10 week block to help quantify and track their progress and growth. Your child may start at any time throughout the year for our regular junior academy. The speed academy runs in line with the school term. Please see below for the next available speed academy intake.
Train Like the Elite
While the systems and standards are elite, the environment is intentionally different.
It’s about giving every athlete, regardless of level, the opportunity to:
understand their body
access the right support
and reach their potential
All inclusive
Ages 10 - 16 yrs
At PEAQ, our Junior Strength & Conditioning Academy is built on the principles of long-term athletic development, providing young athletes of all abilities with the physical foundations needed to succeed across all sports.
Designed for children at any stage of their sporting journey, the program focuses on developing key athletic qualities such as strength, coordination, speed, balance, and movement competency in a safe, supportive, and age-appropriate environment.
All sports
A core part of our philosophy is multi-sport and multi-skill development throughout the junior years.
Research in sports science shows that young athletes who develop a broad base of movement skills and physical literacy are more likely to become stronger, more adaptable, and more versatile performers at senior and elite levels. By avoiding early specialisation and prioritising well-rounded athletic development, we help set children up for long-term success in sport while fostering healthy habits and confidence that carry into everyday life.
All abilities
No gym experience is required—whether your child is stepping into a gym for the first time or already involved in sport, every one is welcome.
A key focus of the program is developing confidence and awareness in the gym, teaching young athletes how to move well, train safely, and understand their bodies. Using evidence-informed training principles, we help establish healthy habits, resilience, and positive routines that support lifelong success both in sport and in everyday life. Our goal is to give every child the tools, confidence, and foundations to thrive now and into the future.
