How long is my sauna session?

Each sauna session is 30 minutes with an allocated booking time of 45 minutes. This includes cleaning and changeover time.

A Recovery Coach will provide an induction prior to your first session.

How hot is the sauna?

Each sauna session is set on 55°C at 100% intensity.

Consultation with a Recovery Coach to implement an individualized Recovery Plan is included with a Recovery Membership. During this consultation further contrast timings can be planned & implemented.

What should I wear in the sauna?

Minimal, modest active wear or bathers/shorts.

You will sweat a lot so ensure you are comfortable.

Bring loose fitting clothes to wear after your session.

What should I bring to my sauna session?

Towels are not supplied. Please bring two towels to place on the bench seating to absorb sweat during your session.

Bring water. It is important to ensure you are hydrated prior to your session and that you hydrate adequately after your session. Leave your water bottle at the sauna door as it will heat up in the sauna. Simply open the door if you need a drink.

Is my sauna session private?

Absolutely! Our sauna is located in a separate, locked room.

Can I bring a friend to my sauna session?

Recovery Members may bring their partners to their sauna session as part of their membership.

Casual Bookings may bring a friend to their sauna session for $10 extra.

Are there showers available?

No. Showers are not available. However, we recommend that you relax and cool down naturally for at least 1 hour after your session to allow your body to continue the sweating and detox process. After this time have a shower and scrub toxins and sweat from your body.

Can I use oils, lotions, fake tan & make-up?

We recommend that you enter the sauna with minimal or preferable no oils, lotions, fake tan or make-up applied to your body as these products will block your pores, decrease your sweat and stain the sauna wood.

Can I take my phone into the sauna?

It is your choice if you would like to take your phone into the sauna. We recommend you leave it out for the following reasons:

your phone may overheat

a sauna session is a great opportunity to relax, unwind & unplug

Can I listen to my own music?

Yes. You sure can! Our sauna is equipped with Spotify for you to choose your own music or podcast.

CONTRAST WATER THERAPY

How long is my contrast session?

Each contrast session is 15 minutes. This allows for the two evidence based research protocols of 3 cycles:

• Beginner: 1 minute cold / 3 minutes hot

• Intermediate: 2 minutes cold / 2 minutes hot

If you require a longer session please book two time slots.

What temperature is the water?

The cold water is set between 8-10°C

The hot water is set between 36-38°C

What should I wear in the water?

Clean, modest bathers or shorts.

How many people can book into 1 contrast session?

One person per contrast session

How long is my Normatec session?

Each NormaTec Compression session is 30 minutes with an allocated booking time of 45 minutes. This includes cleaning and changeover time.

Can I adjust the pressure?

Yes. The NormaTec® Compression system is equipped with:

• 7 pressure levels

• 2 compression styles

• a zone boost to apply firmer pressure to a dedicated area

A Recovery Coach will provide an induction prior to your first session.

What should I wear for my NormaTec® Compression Session?

wear short or long pants with no bulky pockets or zips

ensure your pockets are empty

How many people can book into a NormaTec® Compression Session?

One person per session.

If you are attending with a friend they will need to book a separate session.
